Modern Family Kitchen

Family is very important. When it comes to interior design it's important to have a kitchen that is functional first and foremost. The challenge with this kitchen was creating an island that worked with the floor plan.

This client has two children, a spouse, and two large dogs. This kitchen is also attached to the garage for easy access but that also means it is a busy traffic area. I ended up selecting warm modern tones to match the interiors of their midcentury modern home. High ceilings and exposed brick inspired the hood vent design.
